But first a little bit about myself. I am a bit of a mixed bag. I was born in Canada, raised in the US, and now live in the United Kingdom. So how did a Canadian New Englander (yes there is such a thing, me!) end up in Britain you ask? My love for words is the simple answer. I studied journalism in North Carolina and was lucky enough get the opportunity to travel to the United Kingdom on an exchange program during my final year of studies. I loved it so much that I returned at the first opportunity.
But as you might guess, books and words are not my only love. I have always been fascinated by gambling, and more specifically with how gambling operates online. I was super lucky that a friend of mine got me a job as a customer service assistant for a large online gambling group. I was able to do this job remotely while completing my studies (I was able to sit in my dorm room for a few hours a day, answering emails and I got paid for it!). Upon returning to the UK, and armed with this experience, I landed a job with a major UK bookmaking firm where I spent four years learning about various aspects of their business.
I always found the customer service and personal interaction part of the business the most interesting and when I felt it was time to move on to greener pastures, I joined the group that operates Nodepositrewards.com and now I am responsible for this website!
